Matter and Void

I’m an Italian artist, raised and educated in Southern Italy, where I earned master's degrees in Painting and Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts. My research encompasses painting, sculpture, installation, and performance, drawing on a language that draws from the world of construction and building materials. Through concrete, brick, lime, structures, and architectural forms, I investigate the relationship between inhabiting, constructing, and perceiving space, transforming everyday elements into aesthetic and conceptual experiences.

My most recent artistic project, "Matter and Void: Architectures of Infinity," explores the tension between presence and absence, solidity and lightness, body and space. The goal is to create monumental and immersive installations that engage with both the natural landscape and the urban environment, making the viewer an integral part of the work. Through these ephemeral and contemplative architectures, I offer a philosophical and sensorial reflection on the meaning of emptiness and the way matter can redefine the experience of collective space.
